Im sorry Liz I made a commitment to the farmers, Dorset WildLife Trust and the NFU that we wouldn't allow dogs in the race on or off lead. The livestock wont be moved from most of the fields. The area is a big Pheasant breeding ground and although we are running on national trail,we are relying on goodwill from the landowners and custodians. That said it doesnt mean in future races we couldnt look at allowing dogs but for the first year we want err on the side of caution |
