Looks like several people are having issues over the last few days with runs importing as bike rides due to corrupted split data making the pace look faster than it is. I've logged a feedback for Fetch to investigate when he is next working (it's hardly urgent!) so thought we could use this thread as an update page to save bombarding him.
My total time, distance and pace is correct but some splits show as being much longer than the autolapped 1 mile they should be, hence the pace for that split looks like cycling or driving pace. Happened to me Thursday (which I corrected manually) and again today (which i've left as-is for now to highlight the problem)

Is what I've sent you enough, Fetch or do you also want the FIT files? Thanks

My splits are all coming up no miles long the last few days. Clare, have you updated firmware lately? Think my odd bits started when I did that.

Only happened to me once, which was on Wednesday this week - 2 consecutive miles in the middle of a 13 mile run appeared as 1.05 miles rather than 1.00 mile as on Garmin. Been ok since so just assumed some blip

Something similar has been happening to me with my Garmin 235.
However my bike rides are being imported as bike rides. Where I have paused the Garmin, say at a junction, when I upload the ride the mile where I paused can show up as 1.03, the longer the pause the longer the "mile". Un-paused miles show up as 1 mile.
This started when there was an update earlier this week - a hard reset hasn't solved it, so I was beginning to think it was the Garmin unit.

Well spotted Flatlander, both my "long" miles were miles where I paused the watch to open gates, no other pauses in the run.

Actually good point.... my weird miles are where I've paused for either a stop off at the gym,to cross a road or the start / end of parkrun....

Good spot Flatlander, I paused a run yesterday for a phone call in the mile that blipped. No pauses in this mornings run and everthing fine.
