Tyron is skating on thin ice but he knew that and just thought fuck it.
Dany is also doing that and thought the same. I still think Jamie is going to come out of the rubble he's a bit like the Terminator/Cockroach.

Rewatching E4 was interesting, all the clues to Dany’s madness and Varys’s betrayal are there

Dany's willingness to shed excessive amounts of blood for what she sees as her righteous cause go right back to Season 1. She was happy to see her brother burned, then the witch that she blamed for Khal Drogo's death(which, to be fair, was in revenge for his Dothraki raiding, looting, killing and raping her people). She's burned numerous opponents since then, all of them justifiable from her point of view, and most of the time we've shared that point of view.
Do you remember her crucifying all the slave owners along the road to Mereen?
The signs that she's a bit psychotic have been there all along, and when you add to that the abusive upbringing, the need to not be powerless or isolated, it all fits.

Agreed Nellers. This is GOT, did we really think our favourite character was going to turn out to be all fluffy and lovely when GRRM has a habit of throwing in the unexpected and turning characters around?
I think that's what makes it so compelling, with many shows you know who the 'hero' is and what the end point is likely to be, it's just how you get there. With GOT (with the exception perhaps of S7) none of that has been telegraphed. Yes, we've been built up to believe that Dany is the rightful ruler and a good one who shows mercy, and she's possibly the only one who has had plot armour the whole way through as the last Targaryen, but I've not been expecting an easy rise to the Iron Throne, if at all...

She showed mercy sometimes. Those Slave Owners she crucifed stayed up on their crosses to die then rot as a lesson, while their families had to watch. When she freed the unsullied she tore the place up and killed everyone, not just the one that tried to double-cross her.
The difference then was that we saw the people she killed as bad people so we cheered, despite the horrors unfolding in front of our eyes.
Kings Landing was only really different in scale, and because we didn't see it from her viewpoint. Did you notice that as soon as she took off from the city walls the viewpoint was with the people on the ground, not the Queen on the Dragon.

yes, we've very rarely had the viewpoint of the ordinary people. I think that's what made it so shocking. And the clever way of writing in the mother and child who we followed through the episode.
Haven't we also had warnings before about the damage dragons can do? When they went to Harrenhal it was melted and destroyed by dragon fire.
Freeing the Unsullied is still my most favourite scene.
