Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You are an odd man. I don't know any Spurs or West Ham fans who are saying they haven't spent any money and so I live in a fantasy world?

I live in a world without Sky Sports and Talksport.

See you next time..

I'm a Spurs fan. We spend money. I'm relieved we got the win tonight. That is all I have to say about that.

@LipGloss I took my daughter last night who is at Uni in Manchester, I was astonished when she said she would go with me. It was a strange game and could have been about 12-6 but I thought Ugarte played well. I was amazed that over 73k turned up, especially with only about 3k Leicester.

Fortunately didn't try to get to the villa game last night, and a shame we didn't take it more seriously as a competition. Really good to see mings, kamara, and buendia all start after 3 horrible knee injuries.

Ah well, onwards to Saturday, and a FA Cup trip to Wycombe-York and another ground visited

@Joopsy you could see they were actually playing as a team and wanted to win. Could ETH really have dragged them down that much?

A good and surprising win for Palace at Villa Park, but possibly at the cost of injuries to two key players ahead of an important game against Wolves at the weekend. Good to see us following up the intensity displayed against Spurs at the weekend. Got probably the toughest draw going for the next round.

I suspect there are many (deluded) Spurs and West Ham fans who think their clubs are relatively low spenders because theyโ€™ll be looking at City, United and Chelsea as benchmarks of what constitutes high-spending.

Bob!
Good win for Palace.
Best thing about it though is that our League game with them is now on the Sunday, and not the Monday Night.

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
