Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I thought Switzerland were as good as Italy were bad. They were terrible. The Swiss looked well organised and have a few good players who turned the game for them. Akanji was outstanding defensively too.

England have a lot more talent than the Swiss but we've got to show it on the pitch to get past them, assuming we get the job done tomorrow.

@TROSaracen I thought the argument from the people blinded to how poor England play is that it is all about getting through.

Let's see that sparkling exciting incise football tomorrow at 5 PM.

Poor Andersen. The handball law is ridiculous now. How long before someone does themselves permanent damage by trying to slide with their arms behind their back?

Of course, if Højlund could finish it would all be moot.

Big assumption, that!

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
