He set a record for scoring 6 goals in an FA Cup tie and ending up on the losing side whilst first at City in 1961.
He also appeared three times at Wembley in 1963 for three different teams.

If you don't know those stories, this article is worth a read.

From small acorns...

..."In the 1954–55 season, he was spotted by Archie Beattie, a scout for Huddersfield Town, who invited 14-year-old Law to go for a trial. When he got there, the manager said, "The boy's a freak. Never did I see a less likely football prospect – weak, puny and bespectacled." However, to Law's surprise, they signed him on 3 April 1955. While he was at Huddersfield, he had an operation to correct his squint, which greatly enhanced his self-confidence."...

Nothing has really changed since I made those comments OS.

To me, City and Spurs were both expected losses. City at home, we took them to the wire and were arguably the better team in the first half and unfortunate to lose. Spurs, I fully expected a loss away from home.

My main concern is how poor our defence still is and Keane in particular seems to somehow be getting worse.

Agree on both counts. Gambling ads are everywhere and if they're a trigger then you basically can't listen to any commercial radio or watch any sport.

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
