I’d agree Chris. NooNoo isn’t an elite manager by any stretch, but a solid Premiership manager judging by what he did at Wolves.
The Spurs job was a hospital pass from day 1: the squad knew from day 1 he got the job because he was the last turkey in the shop - and his main man, captain and dressing room leader had a mighty strop on because he didn’t get his move to City.
Fans were sceptical from day 1 too and that’s another additional barrier - same as Moyes and it’s pretty likely Moyes wouldn’t have overcome it without getting the ‘relief’ of playing a few months behind closed doors and away from restless natives.
Not only that, it’s not as if they are in a BAD position, just not reaching (unrealistic) expectations and not meeting (again unrealistic) demands of buccaneering Brazil 1970 football while doing so.

Can't disagree with the majority of that Chris, and I can certainly see a chain of events where Nuno ends up in B6.
By reputation, I'd be happy to be managed by Dean Smith, but not coached by him...
