I definitely need to run today! Someone has infected my newly hatched bug.

So, I don't know if this is right or not - but I mentioned on the unlockable badges thread that I received the 10,000+ point badge even though I don't appear to have achieved over 10,000 points yet. But - here are yesterday and today's screenshots: If you look at yesterday's chart my first day of bug clearing scored 246 and had a bug, but this morning that score has become 46 with no bug. So does that mean that bug bonuses only last 30 days. So each new day you lose the score from 31 days ago, as well as the bug bonus from 30 days ago? It appears that I did get over 10,000 points and then lost 200 + 6 points - although this 10,000+ score did not register as a high score, but did trigger the badge.

" - Yes, and it has been this way since the game was rebooted. It's reasonable if you think about it since the bonus credited on D-30 was actually earned on D-31 - when you did the activity that cleared the bug.

I'd always thought that a bug bonus was for life not just for Christmas

Your total points score is a rolling total of your last 30 days scoring, so any points only last for 30 days. As CA says, it does make sense for the oldest bug bonus to drop off the bar chart, as it was earned the previous day. Likewise, if you had a bug penalty on that day, that will have disappeared as well

I suspect that's a quirk of the bug bonus code, rather than an intended effect. Doesn't matter, though, as it applies to everyone

I took ownership of a relay today but it hasn't moved. When I click on it the label says 0 miles West. Given that my route went in a westerly direction shouldn't it have moved? Or is it because I ran across it at the very end of my run when heading a tad east.?

The guide says it doesn't matter which way you run onto a relay. Having said that, relays don't always do what I expected. Taking ownership is the main thing.

Bob!
I think it should move to a point to the West of where it was, so long as that point isn't already occupied
