Evening all
Been watering the garden and I seem to have cold, wet feet.

Evening, Rosehip. I might have a little walk tomorrow before work and do some more weight training after work.

Ness: project Joker. It's quite a commitment and having three meaningful sessions a week, every week for ten weeks can be a bit taxing. I suggested on the polling page that the training cycle length be amendable, so that the older and/or more frangible Fetchies could complete the three sessions over a longer cycle - say 9 or 10 days - but it didn't seem to set the heather alight. Shame.
I find the suggested pacings don't make me any faster and so I have to tweak them up to make a difference. Perhaps I'm not lemming enough for all-out 5k-ing and need to be fitter than target pace.

But, I like the idea of project Joker: just in case my last post sounds unintentionally negative.

Cheers Ness - needed that this evening.
More relevantly I’m just easing back into running after having not done much for a few weeks

Thanks for your comment, ZenTaoPlurp. I’ll have a look at the sessions and see if they fit. Once I’m back to teaching full time it might be a bit more of a challenge.
Understandable, HellsBells. Hope the return to running is enjoyable for you.

It’s ok, ZenTaoPlurp. I think you have to tell it like it is for you. Some schedules don’t suite some people. A while back I tried a Runner’s World Smartcoach schedule and it just didn’t work for me. The Hal Higdon ones do seem to provide me a useful framework for training.
