I see a pattern.
Tpod and GordonG: sprinted like mad, hamstrings hurt now me: about ten minutes slower than Tpod and GordonG for the 100m, hamstrings perfectly fine
As I believe I said at the time, 100m is evil.

100m was great - except someone should have nobbled Abdou! Having seen him bomb past me in the mile I knew he'd kick our butts in the 100 - and he did. But I still ran a lifetime PB, for both events.

BCRB - please, don't make me laugh. I'm still trying to push my lungs back down my throat. Icklechick - forced, no. Menacingly persuaded by athsma-induced glare....possibly.

My legs certainly had DOMS after the East Midlands 100m, which is why I don't plan to take part in any sprint events, if there are any, at this weekends West Midlands mile - As I have I have a 10k I want to do a good time in two days later...
What were the quick 100m times like?

tpod - all you had to say was that your chest hurt and then you had the perfect excuse to sit out like I did

Suppose so. I should have started coughing and spluttering earlier...
