Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Had a great day out in sunny SE London (followed by cold and eerily windless Watford to watch the BMC 'elite' races). Congrats to all those with shiny new pbs and / or pleasing results following injury.

Always nice to put a few more faces to names :-)

Especially pleased for the new sub 5 boys and very releaved that I got the pacing about right!

Seemed to be a useful platform to a new 5km PB for me today - involved going through the first 1600 in 4:47, and second in 4:50 ;-P but by then I was having to hold on to a cramping stomach (damn that lucozade) so ended up crawling home in survival mode :-( Nevermind - still a 10s pb and an easy one to break.

Currently checking my race schedule to see whether I can make the Reading mile.

Congrats on the PB JEJ, and thanks so much for the pacing, it was a huge help! (Thanks to Blister too even though I foolishly failed to use him sensibly at all...)
