Just popped back for the first time in ages! Would love to help set up a treasure hunt list when the restart happens.

Maybe a Christmas special? Just make it 5 pictures with a festive theme?

I'm happy to post a list any time, festive or not. From Louise, if she fancies doing a festive one, or anyone who wants. |

Sorry to see the (temporary) demise of the treasure hunt. I took part in this a few times during and after lockdown and really enjoyed it. I may be a simple soul, but I find the lists of tangible stuff (postboxes, benches, street signs etc) much easier to engage with than some of the lists with intangible or interpretative clues/words. The idea of engaging with those and being creative generally meant I haven't bothered with them. I know others have had a lot of fun with the more cryptic lists, but they weren't for me. I'm just reflecting really on how/why I have contributed to the falling away in take-up on this. And, yes, I do accept that there are only so many times you can photograph your local pub without it becoming repetitive, so I understand why the lists have moved towards greater creativity. |

I enjoyed it one Christmas when I think it was part of the Fetchmas calendar (or whatever it's called!) but found it too much to keep up with each month - especially living somewhere quite urban, some lists had things which were impossible for me to find in my area.
