Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've finally caught up on all the blogs, nice going everyone. :)

Looking forward to this month's collecting, I've only just looked at the list and realised I could have got a really good one yesterday - it goes like that so often. ;-)

Thought the telephone box was a gimme as I often run past one. Went out last night and it wasn't there. I couldn't have imagined it all these years could I? So checked on google maps street view and there it is. Can't believe that it has been removed just as I need it ;-) No idea where another one is.

Our village post box was stolen but I’ve not heard of a telephone box being nicked before :-)

Don't think its been nicked, just removed. I guess there isn't the demand for them with mobiles. I did often wonder if it worked but never had the courage to enter it and try!

I walked to the next village to snap a postbox. It houses a book swap set up now. I first came across this idea when I went for a walk with my nephew out from Devizes in August and thought how great it is; since then, I’ve seen and heard of quite a few others. So if you want to keep your village phone box, stick some books in it.
