SpicedApple... it's not really about how much the budget is, as Vrap says... once you know who your victim is you can stalk them and come up with something they would like... it's about the spirit of Chrimbo rather than getting caught up in how much you have to spend

Maybe between £5 - £10 would be reasonable? I can't afford a big budget either!

I think £5 to £10 is the norm.... It is the thought and imagination that counts :)

Right. Am off to finish my real life Christmas shopping, wish me luck!

I'd better get round to asking the kids what they want for Christmas, I suppose. I'm guessing, in age order, "A large parcel of vegan foods/cosmetics that you can't get in Canada", "I think it should be a surprise," "A new laptop computer," and "Take me to some shops and give me a blank cheque".

I think my children's requirements will be, in age order, "Money" and "Whatever I have seen advertised on children's TV within the last hour, especially if it's pink and glittery."

My lot will be "Food, food and more food" "can't think of anything" "the entire stock of Hollister" "more cricket matches"

I know HB, and happily occupied too :-) The year mini was due at the end of November is the only year I did all my shopping early. And that was before internet shopping!
