Mrs C has a thing about Cameron's Strongarm as her mum used to run a Cameron's pub. I bought a couple of bottles of a Yorkshire Ale celebrating 50 years of the National Park, but can't remember what its called, and haven't tasted it yet. But for £2 a bottle it better be good (see I have lived in Yorkshire too long!!)

I saw that National Park stuff in Tesco, sitting just under the Copper Dragon. A tasting report would be appreciated.

Like all this talk of Lake District ales.
I'm doing Windemere marathon next month and I've managed to pick up a bus ale trail from the local CAMRA branch.
So guess what I'll be doing the day after the race?

Anyone like the former CBoB Brewers Gold from the Crouch Vale Brewery in Essex? Festival organiser has ordered twice as much as she should have done. But just so she doesn't feel too bad about it we're going to try and drink every last drop for her. Roll on midday tomorrow....!

Tried that Cropton Brewery 'Yorkshire Moors' ale last night. I didn't like it too much. A bit too strong for my tastes. I did however like the Badger Brewery Hopping Hare that I followed it up with. Very refreshing!
