Come to Bury St Edmunds guys and drink some real East Angular beers. Much better than all that northern stuff. Adnams for example is God's own nectar

We have a Beer festival at the Letter B in Whittlesey (Cambs) from Tomorrow (Thurs) through to Saturday, 40+ real ales and around a dozen cider/perry's. Then off to Poland on Saturday to sample as Globetrotter Girl is doing Krakow marathon on Sunday!

Hey OGR have a good trip and good luck to GG. When are you back?
Is that the one Marts did? Also interested to know if there is a half and who you are going with as Poland would be another country for me!!
Have fun!!

The Baroness's verdict on the Bury St Edmunds Beer FEstival so far.... Old Cannon (Bury St Eds) Bow Chaser 4% - described as a lager style pale blonde ale. If this is their replacement for Blonde Bombshell they can stick it up their old cannon. A fellow festival goer described as 'tastes like they left something out.' St Jude's Brewery (Ipswich) Brandon Pale Ale 4% - A nicer golden floral beer - I'll have this one again Yetman's (Holt, Norfolk) Red 3.8% - they say: "Dry with a golden colour and a fruity bitterness." Certainly more fruity and a darker golden (more red in fact) than the previous two. A good session beer - I'd drink this one again

I like Fosters, Smirnoff Ice and Black Sheep. Does that help?
