I'm the wrong person to ask as B was 10days late. I took raspberry leaf tablets but I think he just came when he was ready.
On a separate note I will have FIL staying from the 15th till the 19th so if you need anything in the evenings that week (I usually get in from work between 5 and 6) I have child care on tap, so please do shout. I know the way to the hospital if you need a lift!

Both mine were late, but staying active, as much as you can, helps - walks and so on, but really, induction is fine, don;t worry if that's the way they have to start things off.

Get a gym ball if you haven't already. Sitting & bouncing on that is meant to help them get their head down.
And it's useful during early labour - I sat on it through the first few hours of my contractions. And its useful after you've given birth - it was the most comfortable thing for me to sit on and it makes it easy to rock and bounce the babies to sleep.
Clary Sage Oil really does work. Have a bath with 3 or 4 drops in. I'd leave that as late as possible though to give them both time to get their heads engaged

Exactly what BC said. Plenty of bouncing g then when you're ready, a bath with clary sage oil. My waters just popped about 3 mins after getting in the bath. Good luck!

Oh WL hope all goes smoothly for you and the twins. So will that be 37 weeks?
Anything to get the oxytocin hormone flowing - sex (!), nipple twiddling (!), massage, reflexology.
Long walks, bouncing and rotating like on a gym ball.
Figs or dates I think - not sure if that is for a particular reason or just anything that gets bowels moving can get labour moving, like a curry

Exciting WL! So close to meeting your babies.
All good here. Heidi is 6 weeks now and is up over 7lbs. She's following the line for 9th centile. We still haven't sorted out the breastfeeding issue and she's pretty much just having expressed. It's working for us though. She is terrible at sleeping at night but I'm cutting her some slack as she should only be 2 weeks really. Hopefully things will improve soon! She is a bit of a velcro baby so getting stuff done is tough, although I managed to go outside yesterday!
Love to all bumps and babies. X

Can I ask your advice - has anyone tried hypnobirthing? Did you find it helpful, and did you go to the classes or just do it on your own?
Am starting to think about what has to happen in a few months - the whole idea is distinctly terrifying right now!

Sorry nbfs, can't help.
OB: Alex was velcro. We had a sling. I can't remember precisely what one, but I think it was a Wallaboo. It was very similar anyway. Baby can recline, sit upright, or if baby falls asleep she can be swaddled. They're great! K was driven to absolute distraction by Alex not allowing her to put him down for even a moment until we got one.

Cedd was a terrible sleeper
I got through it but wish I'd not stressed myself trying to sort it. He was a p*ss easy toddler though.
