Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

sorry its taken me a while to get back - thanks very much for the info. i'm just really interested cos my SiL who i run with is now 6.5 months and still running fine and we're sort of wondering when she suddenly wont be! she's worried about getting fat! she had a tough patch around 3-4 months but then it all seemed to come back together. she runs about 1.5mins / mile slower than she did but other than that seems fine.

congrats breadbin.

thanks again xxx

Congrats Breadbin!! That's a big'un!

Rhino she doesn't have to necessarily run, just eating well and having regular exercise should be ok. I go to the gym and do bike/cross trainer and weights and I'm about the same time gone (6 months). And anyway she's supposed to be getting fat, she's pregnant!! ;)

Welcome Pauline! :)

*sneaks in*
A couple go to their first pre-natal class and the husband is told to wear a bag of sand so he can feel what its like to be pregnant. If straps the bag to his belly, stands up and says"This doesnt feel too bad."

The instructor then drops a pen right by the husbands feet and says"Now try picking that up."
"You want me to pick up the pen as if i were pregnant, the way my wife would do it?" asks the husband.
"Exactly that," replies the instructor.
So the husband turns to his wife and says...
"Honey, would you pick that pen up for me?"
*buggers off sharpish*

Yay - I am officially low risk again. My blood pressure is normal (which had been the concern), my measurements are bang on and Cedd has a fab regular heartbeat.
