Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sorry @richmac - I meant to say thanks for the tip about the TT magazine, which is how I found the Hornby club.

My 1.5m wingspan radio control plane will be leaving me today, hopefully. Chap coming round to buy it this evening. He's getting a bargain! But at least someone will get use of it and I'll get some space back in my totally messed up room. Might even get the RC cars out running again!

Wow. Looking fab Will. :-) G

Thanks chaps. I used plastic putty to create sharp lines for the camouflage.

I also sold all my RC cars and planes as I wasn’t using them 😢

And it's gone. :-( But not really cos he's hoping it will be a good trainer for his 6 year old. He's in a flying club so a good home.

And a positive is I've sorted out the two RC cars ready to drive, so that's good too. :-) G

I've put back that bits that fell off the Tiger. The back deck grills are actual grills, as in you can see through them. Clearly I didn't have a 1:72 engine to slot in so added a self adhesive furniture foot pad because it's got a bit of texture just in case anyone peers in.

Put the top of the hull and engine cover also the rear mud flaps, one of them I've chewed up a bit.

The white is primer, it's not Eastern front livery!

@richmac that detail is cracking. Nicely done. I really do like the texture you’ve put into the engine bay. That’s a great idea. I’d mess around with colours on that texture 👌

I can't believe that we've got Crafts, Gardening, Computer Games, but not model cars, trains...!

Just don't call them toys!

My particular hobby was 1/10th scale radio controlled car racing. I'm now looking to get into radio controlled planes. We have some Airfix model builders in here and Lego builders too. Any type of model vehicles really! Planes, trains, automobiles... boats, helicopters, anything! Come join in! :-) G
