Did the Kong Howgills MM today, first time we've done anything like this for years. More compass work required I think. We were first v50 pair, but that's not really saying much and we should have scored at least another 70 points Putting it down to experience.

My mum is doing the GL3D - we were meant to do it together but COVID happened. It's her first time doing anything like this. Just the 'short' cafe course. Anyway, she finished yesterday (15 miles - 10hrs) saying it was the hardest thing she'd ever done (she has done marathons before)!

It wasn't easy. As I guess you know, there ain't much level ground in the Howgills and not many navigational features.
