I think it's the inclusion of CC that makes this the challenge it is, without it (and possibly Seathwaite Fell) it would be something else completely.

I last did this in 2011 and ended the day in A & E with a big hole in my right leg, so am hoping to improve on what was a pretty bad day

She's got a couple of black eyes and a few other scrapes and bruises, she's back to hospital tomorrow morning for a proper clinical assessment - it was just the minor injuries unit we went to on Saturday. So yes, hope to come through this one unscathed - SimonF is going too. If all goes well I will be having a go at Langdale as well, still the meanest race you can squeeze into 13 miles
