Anyone done PYG race? I know most of the route pretty well, but the line between the finger post and Hull Pot is one I've not done for a few years - is it reasonably clear? (not that I'm going to be anywhere near the front on current, injured, form). Was thinking of maybe pottering round the race on Sat. |

Weather looks set fair, just follow the crowd and don't fall down a hole I'll be marshalling on the way up.

That was a bit hard work. Blew on the climb. Wobbly legs on the descent.

(thought about attempting this next year, looked at the 2018 results, hmm doubt I could do those 5 miles in the time of the last runner. Shelves the idea )

Rosehip - the least fast person we've had run the race did it in about 1hr 25-30ish, provided it's a reasonably good evening, it certainly won't be getting dark by that time. If you're worried that it might take you longer, then we could set you off earlier than the main start if you like? I think we've done that previously too. The first mile or so is pretty steep, but after that it's great. NE - do I owe you a pint? |

Fozzy, I'm pretty sure you do. I actually have no idea, but it seems foolish to refuse |

The big Irish guy is still going well. Incredible to maintain that level of effort for so long! Really enjoying seeing the route choice as it unfurls, he's done Birks and Arnison Crag this morning, which is exactly where Bobs and I were on Sunday! I bet he's moving faster than we were though .... live.opentracking.co.uk |
