swittle - he has a support crew with a campervan who drive round and meet him at road crossings providing food, drinks, change of clothes etc and somewhere to sleep for a few hours each night.
If you check the tracker it shows the times between each of the hills, if you scroll back you see an extended time of 3-6 hours each night when he's been grabbing some rest.

Thank you K5 Gus - I can now make better use of the tracker.

I find it fascinating the routes chosen - whether you do peak A or B before peak C and how you string it all together.
I keep looking at it, saying I wouldn't do that as that because....then looking at it again and changing my mind, then a 3rd time and changing my mind again.
I guess it's horses for courses!

DT's summation is spot on AFAIK. Peaks are in the same order as Steve but he has found some different lines to try and play to his strengths and shave some time.

I don't know anywhere well enough to comment on route choice - except that I think if I was looking at the problem from scratch, with no previous attempts to go by - I'd do Binsey first to get the road bit out of the way... Wondering whether he'll grab some sleep tonight or go for broke and see how much he can break the record by?

Seems to be going well this morning. I bet he was glad to get that climb from Low Bank to Wandope out of the way!

Tracker looks to have stopped at mid-day, but he was about 6 or 7 hours up at that point

On his way up Dale Head, 4 to go. This must be a section he knows like the back of his hand and can run in his sleep. Probably a good thing
DT - huge number of calling and low flying curlews on last night's run from The Newdy up Standing Stone Hill and round to Gibson Mill. When they swoop past low you realise how big they are

R4R - was that at Newlands Hause? I noticed that too. It would be a good place to refuel and get some treatment I guess.
