Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’d love to do it but think we’re going out for a social run with the club tomorrow. I was in Addingham today but cannot remember last time I was up the Beacon. Don’t think we’ve been up since we left the village October 2017

PT still going bloody well. I have to say that the route is a work of art in its own way and although I imagine he pinched a good amount of it from SB, there are a lot of obvious off-piste, point-to-point bits that are brave and will be blinking rough underfoot. Chapeau.

He's just crossing Trusmador between Meal Fell and Great Cockup and then heading south to grab Great Calva. He'll be going up Burn Tod [a Birkett] and although there is a trod of sorts (sheep?) on the shoulder, this is as rough as hell.

Tell you what, just looking a bit further his route from Little Man down to Carl Side will be "interesting" :-O

So, PT is into his 6th day. Simple question: when/how does he nap? Also, what comparable challenges are there, nationally and in the wider world?

I think PT will have looked at Birkenshaws route and modified it to his strengths. Jut as BGers do with their route choices. Parachute, Halls Fell, Doddick for example.

Steve B redefined the challenge. Paul is optimising it (for himself) I guess.
