Glad to hear your approach is working Dave. I’ve acquired an injury as well. I think carpal tunnel. I might need to try your method.

My approach is working slowly, as long as my set diagnosis is correct. It could be a long, slow recovery though. Hope yours sorts itself out. |

Wild anyone like to recommend me some climbing or mountaineering books to read? I’ve been paid and World Of Books are doing 4 for 3. I usually like the climb, fall, someone dies, someone survives type true stories. But anything non-fiction would be good. |

I like WH Murray's Mountaineering in Scotland. But it may only be of historical interest. And given my record of book recommendations, I may be the only person who likes it. Solid, pre-war writing, actually written in secret on toilet paper in a POW camp.

I’ve got an updated post war version. Good stories of his climbing days.

There are a couple of references contained in it that are ‘of their time’.

Hm. Not sure. Probably the same sprt of true stories you describe. Or an engaging memoir or how-to. I've just remembered reading a book on climbing that was really a book about friendship amongst men. Semi-autobio I think. Can't bloody remember the author. Will try. |
