I had an interesting chat last night with an amputee climber. He’s nearing retirement and only lost the leg about 3 years ago. Really fascinating problem solving with him - no feedback from prosthetic foot, no articulation at ‘ankle’.

Good news on the continued climbing Linds.
HP, sounds interesting. Overcoming a limiting factor to be successful. Similar to Jesse Dufton but loss of touch instead of sight.

Good session this morning. I have a 6c project I’m making snails pace progress on. Managed to get to where I can stick the 2nd to last handhold, but can’t get my body position right to move on. The staff member who set it was in today, but was climbing not working, so decided against asking for the beta.
Initially I had intended to have a go at it today, but I made some progress on another project and felt good. Thought I’d give it a go.

I had a little climb at a bouldering centre the other day. Its been years since i did anything. I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped. My shoes are now WAY too small. I think my technique is still there, but finger strength/stamina is not.

I’ve tried climbing in shoes that although they fit, were horrendous for me feet. I stopped that quickly and now opt for comfort.
