I was briefly ahead at one point according to the analysis, but apparently then moved my Queen one space too far. Beyond my understanding to be honest.

I saw that Joe, but if you move your queen to c2 rather than d1 then it stops my bishop infiltrating -apparently that was important.
I smiled when a rook check from you gave a running game score of -3.06 & when I played the forced king move into the corner, the score changed to -3.4 even though that was the only move available - bizarre.

In other news, we’re getting closer to having an under 1000 rated match against my main club starting early next week. They’re a big club called The Great Minds that has grown quickly since starting 8 months ago & now has over 1000 members in total.
I’m just negotiating speed of moves & whether we want simultaneous or consecutive white/black games.
I’ll post up the match on chess.com when we agree terms. It’s an excellent way to get an intro to match play against opponents with a similar rating.
