Heard a couple of great spotted woodpeckers out on my Sunday run. Lots of birds around gettiing busy. Great tits are particularly vocal at the moment.

Wriggling Snake
Oh No!
The Jackdaws have learnt to raid my bird feeders. They fly in low and hang off the bottom. They'll be ransacked daily now.

Yes - Jackdaws visit mine regularly but don't empty them. They displace some food that ground feeders can get to. Seems to work well.

Blackbird and in particular dunnock benefit from food dropping onto the deck
Yesterday I had amazing close views for maybe a minute of a stoat along with three noisy and very active greater spotted woodpeckers
