Red Squirrel
Back in Bristol after a month in Moray. Forgot to log that I saw a barny when my cousin was driving us back from a meal in the last few days of my stay.

Dipper and goosander on a very full river in Lathkildale yesterday. Was convinced I'd seen a pair of firecrests as got really great view, close and in bins, of flaring orange (not yellow) crest, but find since that they don't seem to occur here and goldcrests can also apparently have fiery crests. Wish I'd focused on eye stripe instead. (Never properly seen a firecrest).

This is the closest thread I could find for posting a red squirrel chasing a pigeon off a cable.

I'm sure I heard one yesterday, but by the time it had registered in my mind... whatever it was had stopped singing.
