Stonechat, Bonners?

Lots of displaying lapwing on my run this morning (zoob zoob), plenty curlew, and a couple of oyks; first I've seen since the snow. And my first singing skylark of the year.

Walk across to the Res produced 5 Ruff, 15 Barnacles, 4 Snipe, 4 Redshank, numerous Oycs, Widgeon, Teal, Cormorant, Canadas, Greylags and other usual suspects but not many Lapwing, Great Northern Diver, Sparrowhawk, Buzzard, Pied Wagtail, Goldeneye, Willow Tit and the spot of the day the male Scaup that has been reported for the last week. Quite a handsome duck and much easier to differentiate from the Tufties than some books suggest.

Not a stonechat jacdaw, although I did see a male and female stonechat earlier on the run along the seafront.

No, not a bullfinch, just can't think of a better description, I'll keep looking for it in the guide books.

Thanks DT, not 100%, but a couple of pictures of linnet seems to be pretty close, guess I'll never know for sure, but I reckon that could be it. Thanks as always for your help 😊
