Briefly saw a big raptor relatively low over road this morning. I see a lot of buzzards and occasional ravens, but this (in a very short view) looked appreciably bigger. Golden eagle or ‘Tourist’s eagle’? I will never know :)

Red Squirrel, i plan to stick a blog of the birds i saw up when i get around to it. Lots of pelicans around, they are i think the national bird of St Kitts despite 60,000 egrets being there. On the animal front, saw a few Mona monkeys on Grenada and a lot of Iguanas on Antigua. The odd big rat as well, and assorted lizards.

Sorry, iguanas on St Maarten not Antigua, it's hard to remember which island you were on sometimes.

Spotted this gorgeous thing with the other pigeons in town. Is it a pigeon?

I reckon it's a pigeon. Maybe one of the fancy breeds has bred with a regular town pigeon?
