I did - far various odd reasons - do mounted skill at arms for a while, but whilst that was using a sabre it was definitely not a fencing sabre. Was great fun though. Otherwise it's post and rail all the way for us, only really safe option for the ponies. They're buggers for sticking their feet through any kind of wire fencing and racking up vet bills. t'Missus insists on 4 rails, though, as apparently 2 or 3 just makes you look like a cheapskate. Gradually transitioning to hedges.....
