So, basically, does anyone have a suggestion for a decent sounding pair of ear/headphones for running that don't fall out/move on the run? It seems to me that this is impossible to find....just like a teapot that pours without spilling all over the shop!

Over the years I've tried loads of different ones. I don't always run with music, but when I do I want good quality sound WITH BASE! Quite a few sound pretty good if you are in bed/sitting on a chair/sofa and not moving one little bit, but, as soon as you do move a hair on your head, let alone run, you immeadiately loose the base and it's just a horrible tinny screechy din! The only earphones I've ever found that do the job are a pair of Philips with earclips that push the speakers towards the ears with a snap, but after about a year the snap movement wears out and the gradually loosen and move away from the ear on the run to give the usual horrible tinny screechy din. They don't have any model number/name on them and I don't think they are made anymore (these were about £12 I think the last time a bought a pair).

Any suggestions would be very gratefully received.

I've not had any problems with Anker soundcore life p2 but when I upgraded to the liberty neo they kept falling out so I reverted back to my life's

But then I am by no means a real runner! I have a go, but during cycling, they have been great for me and were not too costly.

I have trouble finding any that fit comfortably, full stop. Most are too big for my little ear holes. I had one really comfy pair (Soundbuds Slim) but I lost them and then couldn’t find them to buy them again.

If you want good quality audio, doesn't move when you run, but can be a little uncomfortable (I find them OK, but they're not for everyone) I would recommend a Sennheiser Sports headset.
I've recently bought an Aftershokz bone conducting headset, which is great for podcasts, again doesn't move when you run, but not that great for music.

Just checked, the ones I liked were Anker Sounbuds Slim. Not sure how well they’d stay in when running (as I only wear when walking).Anker also do a soundbud Curve which has a bit that goes behind the ears too.

I’ve had Jabra elite sport and Jaybird vista. Both fit really well. Keep having an issue with the Jaybird, even tough it’s ‘water & sweat proof’ when running in rain the right bud looses volume. Have to dry and clean it then reset to get it going again.

Hi Faithfulred, can I ask which aftershokz did you buy? I've been researching them as I run on small roads and want to be able to hear any cars/tractors/donkeys that might be on the road which I can't do with my plantronics sports headset so easily. I've heard that aftershokz don't have such good bass on them but are ok other than that.... would you agree with that summary! When you say not so good for music can you say why? Cheers

PSC - I got these ones: currys.co.uk

I think there's a newer (and pricier) version out now, but these ones are great.

They're not so good for music because of the bass. The sound isn't that bad, it's just it's not top end.

awesome, thanks..... oddly I'd found the same ones but then paused when I realised there are about 5 models out there at the moment. Thanks for the super quick response.
