Just noticed the side bar with Wainwrights' progress. Could you add me to the completers please? Northern Exile I suspect I might have taken the longest time. My first was I think Rosthwaite Fell from our school camp in Stonethwaite in 1968, and my final one was Wansfell in 2013. |

I was up in God's Playground myself over the weekend for the Newlands Memorial fell races and went out for a little walk yesterday, managing to add to our Birkett count with Kirk Fell North Top (now on 464). Some nice pictures to chirp your day up a bit  There can only be one ...... I guess that like me, you've all see that view loads of times. It never fails to astound me that we're daft enough to run down the side of that thing (for those who've done an ACW BGR or JNLC) Kirk Fell Tarn with some very bad boys in the background And a quiz to finish with: Absolutely loads of Wainwrights in this pic, go ahead and start a list that attempts to identify them all, everyone can add one WW incrementally, but you have to wait for someone else to append one before you can have another go |
