We shall be visiting w/c 15th October for a week. Considering one walk The lion & the lamb. Nothing too strenuous at my age.

From our school camp in far easedale, that was the first night walk WW. Lots of happy memories about it. The record was 25 minutes for up and down.

I gather it's a nice walk with good views. It will certainly take me longer than 25 minutes Christy. People seem to have fondness for the walk.

We did that a few weeks ago - then along to Calf Crag and down Easedale Gill (?) back to Grasmere. Back again next weekend, but just for a couple of days, so very much dependent on the weather as to where we walk

If you went over to Calf Crag I expect you bagged Gibson Knott enroute? Nice going up there, better than the climb up to Helm Crag itself
