Rosehip Apr 2019 10:37pm, 19 Apr 2019 12,281 posts	0 Rosehip from a very busy Burns farm campsite I can see torches on Blease and a campfire by the mine spillage on the lower flanks of Clough head - both wild camping sites are starting to look appealingly quiet! Haven't yet made my mind up where to head for tomorrow.

I camped up at Newlands Hause last night and there were wildcampers with fires, quite apart from the risk they damage the fell 😕 Lovely up here today. Did the Newlands Memorial race (ex Anniversary Waltz) and melted in the heat. Just going to the Swinside Inn to rehydrate.

Buttermere was heaving - and stank of burning brakes.
