A lovely Fetchie (I will let them decide whether to out themselves) was hoping to submit a reading of 'Cocoon' by Simon Armitage, to the Fetch podcast. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible without having to pay a fee to the author. You can read the original poem here: writeoutloud.net Instead of that, I thought it would be as much if not more fun to ask you all to produce your 'emerging from lockdown' haikus (or another format, if you prefer - but haiku's are nice'n'short ), and if it takes off, we'd like to do a podcast special in the next month or so. Iiiiiifffff you want to do a voice recording, you can email it to podcast@fetcheveryone.com - but we can read them out if you're microphone shy Thanks |
