Too many hours spent
Worrying about Covid fears
Have made us nervous

The future is less

And we are no longer brave
And our days seem hard

Vaccines and lockdowns
Are now giving us all hope

So seize the day tight!

But cautiously now
Lest we all succumb once more
To this modern plague

Aargh, missed a syllable

Stops the worst this bug can do
Grandpa gets his hug

I really like this one, which could be applied to emerging from lockdown (not by me, but by the Japanese poet Yosa Buson):

The light of a candle
is transferred to another candle—
spring twilight.
