Interesting watching Toni talking about Thiam you can see the type of athlete he thinks she is, and that probably played a part in Ennis retiring.

Just watching the afternoon session of the champs right now.

More news on the Nike Sub 2 Marathon attempt.

It will be run at the F1 Monza track in Italy - 17.5 laps of 2.4km. So at least the route will be legal, and not a downhill or point to point on a windy day like some had feared.

They did a half marathon trial on it, with the 3 main runners initially shielded by a group of front runners, and those front runners changed over to keep them fresh, but it inevitably all broke down towards the end. Kipchoge ran 59:41 and said it wasn't an all out effort. runnersworld.com
