Sorry NRGEE, my mum's one is a bracelet, but it is via the council and contacts a central station (I suspect it's using the old landline not internet either). Good luck finding the right one for your family. G

Dads is the same as Happy said above. Wrist strap that contacts the centre. They are really sensitive and really good at answering. Council. Not cheap but worth it for peace of mind.
