Anyone going on Saturday? I'm going to try my first race of 2011 since the BIG Fetch Mile in January. Will only be going 90%, but want to see how the hip and pelvis injury holds up to attempt at moving the legs a bit slower than a tortoise! Hope to see some folk there for coffee and cake action! :-)G

Hoping to make my first Edinburgh park run outing this weekend. Quite ridiculous that I've never made it along given that I live not too far away but maybe this will spur me on to come more regularly.
Having had some serious downtime from running this summer I think I'll settle for snails pace!

Lorraine, that's why he needs to move the legs a bit slower than a tortoise this time.
Richy, enjoy parkrun! Make sure to say hi to other Fetchies and join folk to the cafe afterwards.

Richy, I suspect your snail's pace will be plenty speedy!
Lorraine - it was really a sort of moving picnic, wasn't it? There was a My Little Pony lunchbox, and everything. Or did I imagine that?! :-)G

I'll be marshalling - will wave as you whizz by. You coming for cakes after? Would be nice to meet you both. I've only ever shouted at dark lord as he whizzed by at Embra mara and been shouted at as I took the wrong line at Abingdon, I think! :-)G
