Ach, okay - I'll go all out That way, I can get a decent time for a flat 10K. Apparently the Bupa 10K is quite hilly.

Craig, seeing as gary is the only person at PR who calles me "Ally" I think it was him who resonded to my question on FB and that`s what he said.My plan would have been to start the race nearer Silverknowes then on the way back go round the flagpole near the boats, then back again but finish in the usual place. Once you get the first hill out the way at the Bupa it`s fine until a short sharp climg from the Grassmarket and a bit of a slog up to Potters Row, but then the Mound and the Royal Mile are fast downhillers
