That head win killed me but last time I did this run I did it in 6 hr 1 min this time I did it in 5:20:40 so wow and this is a big big PB FOR ME AS all my marathons are 6 hr mark Berlin was 7 hr and over so I'm so happy . For some reason I was given 6 tshirts they just gave me my bag and I was wow there a little full he said it's ok what in there he said your goodyes .

I'm a little wind burnt false is very red . One happy lady I am I have Berlin in sept I realy want to lower my time more also I feel ok I could still walk after the marathon and not felt like I wanted to die . Hard traning works very much

I only saw one Fetchie come over the finish line and hollered for him (sub four hour runner) but my son chatted to a lovely Irish fetchie man on the bus back up to the city centre.

I really enjoyed it and thought the organisation was good, the only minor gripe was no Lucozade/Gatorade at the finish, only water. Apart from that I would recommend it to anyone.

The wind was awful and blustery on the way back wasn't it? I think I lost 5 mins in the last 7 miles but still managed 3.43 - a 16 min PB, so very chuffed!

Blimey, are we saying that the Edinburgh marathon actually got their organisation right? (We can't blame them for the weather...)

I wish the shirt had 26.2 on it as all shirts are the same from 5 km to the full that's all

With only 16 miles in the last three weeks and a longest run of 18 since last september I'm pleased with my 4 17.

I had a wee tear in my calf a couple of weeks ago and could hardly walk on it for a few days so wasn't going to push, I had to walk for about a quarter of a mile at about 22 mile at the towers because the wind was pushing me backwards...can't fault the organisation this time. Berlin next for me too.

Bitter/sweet for me. Got a nice new PB (3:33) but had secretly hoped to go under 3:30 ... and I would have too if it hadn't been for that pesky wind :-(

Saw 3 Fetchies and gave them all shouts. Corrah (on return leg of half), Big Al and of course our very own Marigold who was flying as usual.
