baz - the wind on BBC is now showing a nicer 8mph behind us for the last 8 miles. I will settle for that
Maz - of course, as long as you lurk on the sidelines on raceday after you have finished and add your support !!!
Re Headphones in races - it is something I don't get as for me they are a distraction. They work well in general training but when I want to put in a key training session or a proper race then I don't want the headphones to distract me from running to the plan. Its all too easy to go too fast, especially with some upbeat tunes, or to let your mind wander and slip off pace

I've run Edinburgh in headphones in 2012 and 2014 without incident. I also ran London this year (post UKA changes) without getting hauled off the course. I tend to run with a single earbud in by way of compromise. I'm likely to chance it on Sunday.

I might go club colours and keep fetch top for supporting afterwards... then you'll more likely see me!

Yep, met office is showing the kind of weather I don't mind I've managed to pick up a little eye infection in my one functioning eye so hopefully it will mend so I can wear my contact lens on Sunday. I'm also in yellow with black diagonal stripe, Bedford harriers club colours.

I'll be recognisable as the idiot in long black running tights and a long sleeve black Loch Ness running top. Just look for the runner who's melting, and that'll be me!
