The 49ers might be the most interesting move for Brady. He supported them as a boy but will he want to be a veteran back-up QB for Garoppolo? Probably not unless Garoppolo is traded to the Patriots. Then again, as NFC Champions why would the 49ers contemplate a trade unless they are looking beyond Brady to the 2021 draft.

That 'swapping Jimmy G for Brady' thing was all the rage as a rumour a few weeks ago. Perhaps it's back on. Can't see Brady wanting to go to the 'No fans, no stadium, no clue' Chargers, and Tampa Bay has the mark of desperation about it.
