There was talk that some players had voted one way and then, possibly when the full implications were explained to them, wanted to change their vote but were not allowed.

Extended playoffs is a good enough idea. 17 regular season games seems like a pretty poor one. How will they work out who gets more home games?

See earlier unreliable theory which NFL.com hint at being right - 8 home, 8 away, one neutral/international. The ‘neutral’ was what made me think of Honolulu.

So Jacksonville might actually have eight home games in a season. That’s going to push the prices up. They’ve only got six again this year.

It might actually kill off the London Chargers rumour once and for all. Don’t think the Rams could afford the new stadium on their own anyway, to be fair.

I saw one suggestion of alternating the 17th game to be a home game for each conference. So one year NFC and the next AFC which also suggests it'd be an cross conference game itself.
