It'll be a combination of Brady and offensive line.
I think they'll expect steady play (which is an improvement) and hope for more. Gronk is probably the better value signing tbh (they don't get him without Brady though).
Remember Payton Manning didn't 'win' Denver the Super Bowl in his last season.
Clearly, the Patriots are a shell of their former selves.
It’s almost as if Belichick is intentionally handicapping himself — like when Larry Bird pledged to take only lefthanded shots in a road win at Portland back in 1986.
How can Belichick be so Bird-like, cocky and calm, while the Patriot dynasty seems to be crumbling?
To release Dalton, clearly shows that the Bengals want their #1 draft pick, Joe Burrow, to start. Initially, it was wondered whether the Patriots would snap him up.
I'm still not convinced about Kyler Murray, last year's #1 pick at Arizona as he seems a bit of a lightweight QB. The Bengals are seemingly much more confident in their acquisition.
