Yup, Sam's doing the Copthorne 200 this weekend for his birthday, so currently sat in a very dodgy Travelodge in Dorking feeling sorry for myself because I've got a stinking cold 😂

I have donuts, lemsip, and now the ingredients for a hot toddy. I'm hoping to feel a lot better by tomorrow so I can cheer him on into his birthday on Saturday. |

He got to 100 miles, which is the furthest he's run all year, and definitely the most elevation (22,000 feet I think, in total), but now has a suspected stress fracture in his right shin 😞 He's also now coming down with the cold that I've had all weekend, so all in all neither of us are feeling brilliant, but we are at least heading home today. |
