I tried to make the zip wire go really fast which meant it slammed into the thing at the end that is meant to stop it and shot me backwards to the middle. I wasn't prepared for that but luckily I didn't fall off

Yesterday's - I ran a 45 mile ultra with no navigational errors (mostly thanks to a local that I ended up running with). A lack of bonus miles is something of a novelty for me.
Today in my Bikram yoga class I attempted (and managed) the camel pose for the first time in a couple of years. I don't think that there is a newt pose.

The thought of a newt pose made me laugh, becca7!
I have learned that the use of exclamation marks in the above sentence is possibly grammatically incorrect.

There is such a thing as a lizard walk exercise though - perhaps we can rename it "newt walk" for this thread

Good idea, kwala. I might use the newt walk as one of my newts this week.

That's fab, becca.
We had a new pasta dish for tea. Sardines and breadcrumbs and capers. It was a bit dry but tasted of the sea.

I made a newt dish this evening. A pork and mixed mushroom Thai curry. It was excellent, though I say so myself
And I included some half-curls when I was playing with the curl bar to space eL Bee!'s squat sets (no bleedin' way was I going to do squats today). I haven't done half-curls since my BodyPumping days more than a decade ago.
