Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I do that all the time WA. In fact it is not unknown in our household (by which I may be referring to once a week or more) to cook a recipe serving 4 and for there to be none left and there are only two of us....

Obesity crisis??? What obesity crisis? ;-)

I've earned a badge this morning...

'You've typed for 30 days in a row'

So that will be a month of my typing practice (at least an hour a day).
Am quite pleased with self, I don't need a stupid virtual badge but it's nice to be reminded I've stuck at my New Thing for a whole month.

My newt today is that I can see a collared dove sitting on a nest in a tree in our garden....and am assuming she must therefore have some eggs.

I will need to look into how long it takes for the fledglings to be ready to leave the nest before Wanda notices them and starts refusing to believe that dogs can't climb trees or fly.......... :-(

Today's newt is hopefully going to be a Pilates class at my local gym. I'm going at 11:30 provided it's not full. I've done it before but this will be a new location, wish me luck :-)

Today’s Newt for this year is that I’m sitting on a bench outside the local farm shop drinking coffee and I am not freezing! And I only have one coat on, and no gloves!
